Meet the Directors
Director Timothy Grange
Mr. Grange is from Dallas, Texas. He is a graduate of The Colony High School, which is part of the Lewisville Independent School District. Mr. Grange earned a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of North Texas in 1995. He was a member of the University of North Texas Wind Symphony and the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. Mr. Grange has studied trumpet with Dick Clardy, John Haynie, and Leonard Candelaria. He holds professional affiliations with the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and the Texas State Teachers Association. Mr. Grange is in his thirteenth year of teaching. He comes to Clear Springs High School from the Katy Independent School District where he taught at James E. Taylor High School for two years and Mayde Creek High School for ten years. Mr. Grange is blessed with wife Traci and daughter Mary Kate.
Assistant Director Mike Nelson

Family: Married to Crissy Nelson, who is a branch manager for Cingular Wireless. Their son, Carsten Nelson was born July 1, 2005. They have a miniature schnauzer named Winston.
Background: Prior to taking over the assistant director duties at Clear Springs High School. He was the assistant director at Dobie High School and the percussion coordinator for the Hightower High School Band in the Fort Bend Independent School District.
