INDOOR DRUMLINE

Did you know that our very own drumline and front ensemble (pit) have been meeting since before the winter break and preparing for Winter Drumline competition? Winter drumline is an energetic, theatrical, indoor marching percussion ensemble that competes during the winter and early spring. Our percussionists will be debuting their show in a preview this Thursday evening at 8:00PM in the CSHS competition gym. Come see what they’ve been up to and cheer them on as they prepare for their first competition of the season at Pasadena Memorial High this weekend! They can use some behind-the-scenes support on Saturday, so sign up in Charms if you are available to lend a hand as a chaperone or a roadie.

Drumline Send Off & State Championships

The indoor drumline season is almost over and all the students have been working hard to put the finishing touches on the show. In preparation for the TCGC Percussion Championship show this Saturday they will be having a send off performance this Friday:

Please show your support for our drumline by attending the send off performance above. Also, If you are able to make the trip to college station on Saturday, please come and support them for their TCGC Championship performance on Saturday.

Auditions (Percussion)

Percussion auditions for marching band for the 2015-2016 school year will be held in the Clear Springs High School music wing beginning with a series of clinics in April and concluding with a summer camp in June. Percussion auditions for concert season for the 2014-2015 school year will be take place on May 27th. The exact days and times for these clinics, camps, and audition can be found on our online calendar which can be accessed by clicking here or clicking the calendar link at the top of this page. Any non-percussionists such as oboes and bassoons who will be playing with the pit or battery during marching season will need to attend the percussion clinics and summer camps.

Recent Contest Results

Last weekend (3/8/14) our Color Guard competed in the Texas Color Guard Circuit competition at Dobie High School and placed 1^st in their class. Congratulations on your win!
